HOW TO SUBMIT SHOW POINTS

SUBMITTING OF POINTS
Points from PHAA approved shows do not need to be submitted as they will be automatically included when results are submitted by the Show organisers.

Points from non approved shows must be submitted to the PHAA office on the official form (from a PHAA points recording book) within 30 days of the event.
Go to List of PHAA Approved Shows

Points recording books can be obtained from the PHAA office for a fee of $25 (including postage). For more information or any help on pointscores email the Pointscore Admininistrator

Do you have trouble fitting all your points on the one small page?
Well the good news is, new A4 sized pointscore books are NOW AVAILABLE. Enquiries can be made at the PHAA office.

Want to know what your horse's current points are?
We now have an Online Show Points Search facility which will allow you to search for lifetime points for any horse registered with the PHAA.

For current annual Points Score go to the 2006-2007 Annual Pointscore page. This is updated on the 15th of each month and includes points received at the office up to that date.

CHAMPION AND RESERVE CHAMPION HALTER ONLY
The Champion of each division will receive at least one (1) point more than any other horses, provided that at least 2 horses were exhibited in that sex division. If necessary, additional points will be added to the points the Champion won in its age class to give it this total. The Champion will always receive a minimum total of two (2) points in any show where at least five (5) horses have competed in that sex division.

Example: If the reserve Champion stallion received three (3) points, then the champion stallion will be given one (1) point more so that it will have a point more than any other horse in its sex division.

Or: If the Champion stallion received three (3) points for being first in its class, and no other stallion received more than two (2) points in its class, then no additional point will be awarded to the champion stallion.

The Reserve champion of each sex division will receive as many points as any horse in its sex division except the champion. If necessary, additional points will be added to the points to give it this total. The reserve champion will always receive a minimum total of of one (1) point in any show where at least five horses have competed in that sex division.

Example: If the reserve champion stallion received two (2) points in its class and another stallion which was not the champion stallion received three (3) points in its class, then the reserve champion stallion will be given one (1) more point so that it will have as many points as any other horse in its sex division except the champion stallion.

Or: If the reserve champion stallion received two (2) points in its class and no other stallion except the supreme champion stallion received more than two (2) points, then no additional points will be awarded to the reserve champion stallion.

The Grand Champion Stallion, chosen from the winner of the Junior and Senior Champion classes, will receive one more point than any other male exhibited.

When completing the show results sheet for Champion / Reserve Champion ensure you advise the number of entries in each of the halter classes of the same sex. This is to ensure sufficient points are awarded for Champion and Reserve.

If claiming points for Supreme Champion Paint or Paint Bred ensure you advise the number of horses and sex of other competitors standing for Supreme.
